Maya graduated from Leeds University in 2001, and has lived and worked in London since 2003.
Maya acquired Middle Lane Dental back in 2008. Back then, the practice was still in its infancy - little more than a single room in the back of a pharmacy. However, when the pharmacy moved on, Maya took the opportunity to renovate the space and create a practice that revolved her own priorities in dentistry - creating a calming environment full of friendly staff, dedicated to taking the stress out of dental visits.
Maya really enjoys the village feel of Crouch End as it reminds her of her time working ‘up North’!

Rachel graduated from Birmingham University with Honours in 2010. She spent several years gaining a broad range of experience and expertise by working in both general practice and hospital roles. Rachel enjoys all aspects of dentistry, including getting to know and help different patients on a day to day basis. Her positive attitude and cheerful disposition helps put her patients at ease.

Nasim qualified from the University of Bristol in 2010 with a merit in oral surgery and oral medicine. Following oral and maxillofacial surgery posts in Bristol Dental Hospital and Derby Royal Infirmary, Nasim moved into general dental practice.
As well as oral surgery, Nasim has a special interest in root canal treatments, undergoing a master’s degree in Endodontology. Nasim is also a provider of Invisalign and Inman Aligner cosmetic orthodontics.
Outside of dentistry, Nasim enjoys playing football, watching Arsenal and travelling.

Imanual qualified as a dental surgeon at Leeds University in 1985 and has been working in general practice ever since. A highly experienced dentist, he previously single-handedly ran a successful private practice in Putney for more than 13 years before selling in 2003 so that he could spend more time with his wife and four children.
Imanual has been at Middle Lane Dental since 2011 and enjoys treating our private patients.

Sophia graduated from The University of Manchester with a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Materials Science in 2009. After her graduation, Sophia went on to study Dental Hygiene and Therapy at the Eastman Dental Hospital. While studying there, Sophia worked alongside world leaders in periodontology and gained experience with a wide range of patients.
Sophia regularly attends postgraduate courses to keep up to date with the latest tools, technologies and treatments. She is particularly dedicated to helping patients with dental anxiety and phobia, and in helping them to overcome their fears.
In her spare time, Sophia enjoys live music gigs, the theatre and relaxing with yoga.
Consultant Restorative Dentistry

Simon graduated from Newcastle University in 2002. After spending time in general dental practice, Simon worked in junior hospital positions in oral and maxillofacial surgery in Liverpool and Manchester. This prompted him to enrol on a two-year Master’s Degree in restorative dentistry, which he graduated from in 2009. Following this, Simon completed specialist training at the Royal London Dental Hospital, passing his Consultant’s exams in 2014, at which time he was awarded the Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons - the highest dental qualification available in the UK.

Doreen can be found working on our reception and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the practice. Formerly our head nurse at Middle Lane Dental, Doreen has 8 years of dental nursing experience and can answer virtually any question a patient may have about their treatment or care.
